My 08 aveo drives at really high rpm is there a way to fix it?
Take the over drive button off or the shift lock button off or lots of things off. What year and are you running an auto? Any check engine lights?

'really high' doesn't tell us anything. Post the RPMs corresponding to a few MPH set points, such as 30, 50, 60.Quote:

Sounds like a vacuum leak. Did this start happening all at once, or gradually increasing? Any repair or maintenance done recently which might have left a hose loose?Quote:
