HELP! Can't lock driver side door

I just fixed the key hole that fell into the door, and now I have a problem with my driver side door lock
I can't get the door to lock, and the knob barely moves. All the other doors work fine.
Can somebody please help me figure out what is causing this and how I can fix it.

If you take the door panel off. you will barley be able to see the solenoid that actuates the knob and also senses position to tell the other doors to lock as well. Atleast it does in my 04. Sometimes they bind or the linkages get loose so the knob wont move.. I had the track of the window passing directly over the rod that went form the SLND to the knob. Because i tightened the track it grabbed the rod and essentially held it in place so that i could not move the knob at all. I loosened the track and moved the rod to the inside then re tightened everything back up and it worked fine. I hope this is easy enough for you to understand. unfortunately i did not take any pictures... Give this a shot and Good Luck

its possible you installed it in the wrong direction, and the rod is now too short to move the lever on the latch.
