its on the pedal, at the top, its a "release" switch. unplug the wire, and then it will either work jumped, or unhooked, depending on ho the wiring works. So unplug it, and ry to start it, then just the two wires with a paper clip and try to start it.

If the paper clip is needed wrap it in tape or something so it doesnt ground out.

yes i went to do that and found the switch, it wont start unglugged. i did get the car to start but i still want this dissables for my autostart that came in today. there are actually 3 wires from the switch. a blue, orange, and brown. i tried a paper clip between every comonation of two wire possible. all three wires need to be connected to something. but idk what. any ideas?

how did you get it to start?

it is a switch, looking through the wiring diagrams, (dont have 09 and up) the brown or orange is a hot in start, blue should go to the solenoid.

On the diagram i do have, its yellow is hot, purple go to solenoid, if automatic brown goes to transmission. try splicing all three together ? might blow a fuse or burn a signal wire though.. I think it has a signal to the computer and a signal to the starter..

Don't bypass it =/, just use a neutral sense switch.

I know I'm late with this one but...It's a 4 wire WHITE plug your looking for with only 2 wires in it (??) a yellow and a purple. Jump them with a paper clip

The one with the 3 wires is the clutch pedal position switch

I did and that makes sense so I need to look for a White plug purple and yellow wires got it. Then why did disconnecting the clutch position sensor stop me from starting?
