my money is on a bad coil pack. i had similar problem and when i replaced mine it ran fine

Sounds just like my car last summer, got new coils, problem persisted, there was a recall on my cat converter so they changed that, problem persisted, said with no lights on they couldn't do anything. So it still does it now.![]()
