hissing and high revving

I have a 2010 aveo5. My car has almost 160k miles on it. Just recently my car started this thing where it sounds like how when the car stutters when the fan kicks in and then goes back to normal. Nothing on the rpm Guage changes when it seems to go in the "lower rev, load on engine deal". It also seems to make a whooshing sound in the engine bay when it does this, almost like a mini turbo under the hood. Now I may be a vacuum leak, but idk where to even look.
Car excelorates fine, drives fine, everything rung great on it.
