how to get a smoother ride?

hey guys, i've been noticing that my 6 aveo shakes too much. Not like jerking or anything, but more like i feel the engine vibrations a lot.

I noticed it once i got an older car, a 1997 lexus es300, which rides smooth like a cloud.

Now i know the aveo felt almost as smooth at one point and i'm wondering if there is anything to restore that smooth ride??

It could be multiple things. It could be your tires need to be rebalanced, it could be worn suspension components, it could be worn engine mounts. You would have to start looking into each of these things and eliminate them one by one if you really want to smooth it out.

I've found that when the radiator fan activates while idling, there's quite a bit of vibration too. Was worried about it the first few times before I realised what it was. Obviously it's something else as Daox mentioned if you're feeling it all the time/while driving.

the car handles great while driving, it's just when i stop i can feel the car is very shaky. my steering wheel vibrates too. the motor mounts did make sense as they would be the only thing absorbing vibrations directly from the engine.
