      Idler Pulley Broke Got timinig belt kit.

      I got a timing belt kit but from what im hearing when it goes its a 100% chance you have bent valves now ????

      It's extremely likely, yup.
      If you're lucky though, you might only have half of the valves bent.

      So im going to have to pull the head any way. would it be better to replace the valves or just get a new head ??

      depends on the damage. You could get away with just the valves like our car but some trash out the whole thing. Pull the head and be ready to replace all valves anyway. You will need both pulleys and change your water pump also. Hope you didnt get a piston.

      To add to that: if one of your pistons is damaged, two options. Either you take a stab at replacing the piston, or you get a new engine. Both can be costly.
