Based on that description alone, I would say its the temp switch for the cold start circuit. BUT, BUT, a bad battery/alternator might be able to cause this..
Any more diagnosis? experiences? elaboration?
it was runnin great before it started this. I plugged my diagnostic scanner into it and the codes that came back areQuote:

From what I gathered when I googled the codes its the map sensor. but idk for sure. I've had the car about 6 months and I haven't had any problems at all out of it at all til now
Have you checked for cracks in the map sensor vacuum hose?

Ok thanks. And do I need to take the throttle body off to do this?
I did unhook the map sensor yesterday to.see what it did and when unplugged it missed really bad and died, plugged it back in and it done the same as before. So? Would that mean it probably is the map sensor?
Cleaning it off the vehicle is easier and likely to result in a better cleaning. But I've cleaned it on the vehicle, so it certainly can be done that way as well.
Disconnecting the map sensor as you described wouldn't confirm anything, good or bad.

The map sensor can be tested if you have a multi-meter and a vacuum pump. Alternatively, if there's a U-pull salvage yard nearby, you could get one there for a few $.
have you tried getting a new throttle positioning sensor?
could be your throttle just being out of wack.
