      Inner tie rod end "boot"

The rubber boot over the linkage from the steering assembly to the tie rod end on my 2006 Aveo is destroyed. Can a replacement be installed? I am concerned that if the linkage fails, I may need to replace the entire steering assembly $$$.

there should be a boot that fits, but you will spend some time looking i think (since the inner cv is considered not serviceable).

Thanks, I really don't want to replace that steering assembly, so a replacement boot would be worth a try. If anyone has any suggestions as far as sourcing one, I would appreciate!
