Hi guys/girls! I already posted this in a different thread, but it was not in "Troubleshooting and Maintenence." I hope that my problem will get more traffic here!

Yesterday I had the battery replaced in my 06 Aveo. After starting the car up again, the airbag light is on and will not go off! What exactly causes this? Is there anything I can do to fix this myself without having to get screwed over by a dealer?

I have an ELM327 USB interface, but the software that came with it does not appear to have any airbag features. I have attempted to do research and it may be that the ELM327 will not interface with GM vehicle airbags. Is this true? If not, what software can I get that will do the trick?

Additionally (unrelated), where can I find information on the wiring of the power locks and windows from the driver-door to the pillar? The aforementioned functions are not working, but can temporarily work when I wiggle the rubber cable sleeve that connects the door to the pillar.
