Well, kid is at Fort Sill for basic, and she dropped the car off before leaving .
I haven’t seen the sedan long enough in nearly a year to maintain it. It came back with 3 wheel covers, no spare tire tool carrier, one broken window crank, the black plastic garnish for the passenger side rear door was missing, leaking coolant and oil, one front tire all worn out (the tires were barely a year old) a new mismatched one on the other side, 14psi in all four tires, and a ton of front end squeaks.
Oh yeah, the money light is on. Love teenagers.
The car was tired.
I really like this car so I’m keeping it. It’s been a long week but almost everything is fixed.
new:
window crank
rear door garnish
oil pressure sender
tire to match the other new mismatch so I have matching fronts and matching rears
set of wheel covers
Full timing kit with water pump
both control arms
both CV shafts
and a remote starter just because I wanted one.
the shop gets to work on the P0455 because I checked everything I could.
Happy car gets to enjoy life again.
