We want to believe these DIYs are going to be easy, when the reality is they often turn out to be a PITA. But glad to hear you were able to fix it for minimal $ anyway. Were you able to determine why the hose split or cracked? Hoses typically last a long time these days. Do you think there is something about where or how this hose is installed that contributes to failure, or did it just appear to be a materials quality issue?
