light on indicator

I am a new user, I've searched a lot but did not find what I was looking for. I wonder why there is no sound indicator that I left my lights on when I remove keys from ignition... is it a frequent problem, and how do you solve it. FYI I have a 2005 Suzuki Swift / Chevy Aveo. Everything that I have done on this carwere the same as an aveo so I don't think that would be different for this very problem, Thanks folks and have a good day

Pretty sure my '05 DID have a 'pinging' noise.

Edit - Sorry, guess you already realized it SHOULD have a chime.
