i have a 2010 Chevy aveo. i was wondering if you could give me some incite on a problem i am having.

when i shift into park to reverse to drive, it will thump. but every once in a while, i lose all gauges, and at that time when i turn the car off. I cant not start it back up, in tell after 10 minutes. then it will start back up.

when you can't start it back up, does it crank or does it do nothing?

Reverse Thump
Bad electrical problem loosing gauges
Engine does not start.

I would check the wiring harness and look for corrosion.
I would get your battery checked.

I would suspect it's a bogus problem. I'll say no more.
