Just in case someone ever searches this problem, at least I can pass along the info.

Remove the 2 trim pieces next to the radio, they just pop out.
Remove 2 screws that hold the center dash piece on, again very easy to see.
Next pull dash piece straight out, not up!
2 screws hold the SIC in place, and unhook the wire connector.

I'll post the part # when I find it again!
