Low Oil Pressure!!!
i have a 2005 AveoLS sedan that the oil pressure light comes on when i stop. It only happens after i have been driving for a while I have already replaced the oil pump, and oil pressure sending unit and it still happens! my fear is that the Cam Bearings are worn and causing the light to pop on but i dont know...
Did you put a pressure gauge on to see what the actual pressure is? What's the mileage, the oil change history, and what oil do you use? Was it ever run low on oil? Are you the original owner?
The car has 141k on it I run 5W30 and change it every 3k miles I never had it run low in oil and I'm the second owner
Did you ever check the actual pressure using an oil pressure gauge?
Not yet but I will... If its an idiot light I'm going to put a mechanical gauge in
