      My Aveo's a POS!!!!

Okay, so I've got a 2006 Aveo with approx 77478 miles on it. I have recently had it drop into limp or limited mode and it won't go over 13mph. Hooked the scanner up to it, and it pops codes 2110, 2106, and another one I can't remember off the top of my head, but still about the throttle system. I replaced the TPS and also the throttle body, which did not fix the problems. I then paid someone online to help me out, who told me to take it to the dealership to have the computer reset. I did that, and it still didn't fix it. I'm seriously about to drive it off of a cliff! Could someone please tell me what to do?!

well at 13 mph, driving off a cliff won't really be that exciting.

its the code that you cant remember that is the important one.

I had the same codes and the throttle body replacement helped me.....I haven't had the CEL in a few weeks now.

Clean or replace both the PCV valve and the hose from PCV to throttle body. Its probably all gummed up and screwing with TB. If that's it you need to switch to synthetic oil if you haven't already.

LOL!! No, it wouldn't be a fun ride, but it may just be worth it if I can't get her to run right! I think the other code is 1516 now that I've racked my brain! I will try the hoses part. Any other tidbits I'll take! And I'll let you know if the hoses work! Thanks!!

i put my money on plugs, wires, and maybe a coil pack. thats only if you don't have a vacuum leak, or a torn intake boot.
