That sucks! Guess worse things can happen to cars though.
oh yeah there are worse things like the belt behind that belt going. Sorry that happen. However that is an easy home repair!
Please do not power off, firmware update pending.....
Oh, that should be an easy fix, just three bolts hold it on and I think it should just drop out for you with the belt out of your way. Napa should have the 'heavy duty' replacement with a metal roller. Autozone as I recall only carried one with a plastic pulley? I had to swap the tensioner on our black LT the day I bought it and was a quick repair.

This is the best one i've found near me. Looking at the one on my car and the ones i've found online, it's only two bolts. One on top and one on bottom. Top can be accessed from the top easy by removing the air filter, bottom can be easy to get to by removing dust shield. Then pop new one in, and throw the belt on.
That is only a bearing, you will probably need to replace the entire assembly. like this one: Gates DriveAlign 38376 - Automatic Belt Tensioner | O'Reilly Auto Parts
as the base seems to fall apart and the spring pops out.
For reference, this is one model with a steel pulley: NAPA AUTO PARTS
Not sure if a parts house near you stocks the metal ones or not. I found one at Napa, but others should be available.
If not rockauto.com has the metal ones in stock for $25- AC Delco # 38376

Cool, I think the gates ones have a metal pulley, or at least some are listed as metal.
