Hope this is in the right thread. I need help locating the snap gromet that goes inside the door to hold the interior mirror cover plate on.

I bought some before...they are dirt cheap. My dealer had them in stock.Originally Posted by bdc87

Do happen to know the part number?
No, it's been 2 year and I threw the receipt out.

I'm sure if you come in to your local dealer they should be able to look it up no problem. Usually explaining to them what you're looking for is good enough for most parts guys to find it in the system (or maybe I was just lucky with the local dealer ). And like the frog said, they might have them in stock, since they're so easy to break when you take off the door panel.
Another thing, if your local dealer says "no, we don't have any, but we can order some for you, they'll be here in a day or two", ask him to stock check it with other chevy dealers around (assuming that they're not the only dealer for 100 miles around, I have 2 or 3 more withing 20 min driving), they might have them in stock instead of you having to wait for them to come in from the warehouse. For me, when I was looking for an exhaust manifold gasket, they just let me pay at the dealer I was at and pick up the part at another dealer (that way it's guaranteed when you get there).
Hope this helps.
2006 Chevrolet Aveo a.k.a. Holden Barina – SOLD
2008 Chevrolet Cobalt SS/TC - SOLD
I guess I'll call around as it will cost more in gass then the part to drive around and find it. Maybe they can ship it to me.

Luckily I found a dealer right next to me that I didn't know existed. The next one is 35miles away.
