no crank, no start
my car was flooded. it started fine 2 days later. i drove it several times that day. the next morning it did not start. when i put the keys in the ignition all the lights come on and don't dim or change when i try to start it. i feel like the battery is strong. also my obd fuse keeps blowing.

First off what year Aveo are you working on?? Stick or auto? When you say you feel like the battery is strong, what volts does it show under load? I would start there, and make sure the alternator is putting out current, then I would check ALL the fuses, and anything that got wet. Something has most likely shorted out.

what kind of flood are we talking about? a foot is different than 18 inches, than 3-4 ft.
Was the car running when it flooded?
You probably finally corroded the fuse box. And everything is a loss now. Its still fixable, but what are we talking about here?

I have an 09 aveo lt. the water went up about 4 inches up the front seat. you could not see the tires. I can get the car to start every time now. I have to hold the key in the start position for 1 to 2 seconds. the only thing I hear is 1 or 2 short clicks, there is a pause and then it starts. sorry for such a long time to respond, I worked on my flooded house and got sick. I was out for a week. thank yu so much for trying to help me.
