Noise from steering

It did the same to me before the Power Steering pump went out one way to check is to have the car running and open the Power steering fluid reservoir if its shooting out the Pump isn't working.

All they did was replace a plastic ring that is behind the steering wheel. You can probably just see it through the gap and its a black ring. Hope that helps
