O2 Sensor

Hi......

My wife has a 2005 Aveo and the engine light is on. Codes say that it is the O2 sensor(s). I would like to change these out myself, but I am not sure which ones are the sensors. Just such a small area and lots of crap in there. Can anyone help out?

the first one is off the header....the other is somewhere further down the exhaust behind the cat

and the other is in the cat

The codes should tell you which one it is, as well... Upstream (before the cat, in the manifold) or downstream (after the cat).

I would recommend picking up the cheapo bosche sensor from advanceautozonepartsnapaboys without the OEM connector. It's a lot cheaper and the little wiring kit it comes with is pretty easy to use. I installed my upstream o2 sensor in about an hour. Just be sure to pick up some wire wrap to go with it.
