Oil Filter Housing
Wondering if anyone has a step by step guide as to how to remove & install the oil filter housing (#93186324) on a 2009 Aveo5 LT.
Seems i may have split mine when I was installing my clutch slave cylinder, I now have oil spilling in that general area. Pics would be great, also looking for torque spec for the bolts belonging to the housing. Spent hours online and found nothing pertaining to it,
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like a few bolts attach the housing to the engine block. Just dont go gorilla crazy with the torque, its all aluminum

Thanks for the input. I just ordered one from the dealership approx same price as the link you posted, it should be here Monday.
I'll will post on how the work is going. Got to find a garage to put it in, starting to get cold and night comes pretty quick here.

Thanks Thud Slamrod. That was the piece I needed. I was sold the wrong slave cylinder and when i installed it it pushed against the oil housing causing it to split. The dealership gave me pics and specs on how to install the new oil filter housing. A friend mechanic installed it. All is good now.

What were the torque specs on it anyway? Nothing was listed in my FSM.

Sorry it took so long, but here are the torque specs - 25Nm (18.4 lb ft)

25Nm is marked on my oil filter cap. My assumption is that the torque for the cap would be 25Nm. It seems strange that the mounting bolts would be the same spec. Mine is a 2010 AVeo 5.
