In the GM manual, it's in the "Engine Cooling" section. It looks like quite a mess. You have to drain the engine oil, coolant and then remove the exhaust manifold/catalyst and a coolant pipe to get at the thing. Sounds like job that can bloat up and eat your whole weekend, depending on how many bolts fight you.
Be sure to replace all the gaskets or O-rings while you are in there and make sure they are lined up right before tightening everything up. If the O-rings are just a bit outside where they are supposed to be, they'll seal fine for a bit and then cut through and start leaking again.
      Good luck.

well, the worst was NOT oil cooler ..junk sending unit, it spit out a qt. n 50 miles , thats when i notice idiot lite on @ idle .ck oil ya low..started doing almost every time ,not a simple change either...15/16 deep well, not too deep tho AC in way..not sure i'll ever buy acdelco again..R&R exhaust manifold ...but oil cooler has slow drip ..gives me more time to get all new pipes & seals..looks to be dripping from bolts ..next week maybe..already got new cooler, waiting on tubes now...complete overhaul gasket set cheaper than buying seals separately. $50 ebay..need some opinions now...any sealer on seals orings..grease. oil, rtv, adhesive aka permatex..im thinking rtv on bolts ..any and all input is welcome, new cars are not my field of knowledge..sbc r ..old ones..thanx in advance Name: IMG_20180303_173149017.jpg
