My god! Have you checked the oil? You need oil the keep the car running. There may not be enough oil to push through the system at idle speeds.
Please do not power off, firmware update pending.....

You might have a bad sensor. You will need to check the voltage going to the sensor and/or replace it.

another possible issue - oil pump is driven by belt. Check the belt tension.

Oil pump is driven off the crank by internal gears.

If the new oil sensor eliminates the light coming on, great. If not, then start looking for the new engine that will be needed soon.

change every 3000 thousand miles. my valve gasket was leaking don't know if that could have contributed to the problem or not
! changed the sensor light still came on after a bit. was reading another guys post had same issue had oil pressure checked after replacing his sensor because the light would not go off, and turned out pressure was ok he had to change the sensor a fourth time finally resolved his issue. I have not checked pressure because I don't have a gauge. Thought I would try that first and hope the pressure is good. just to clarify though could do the gasket same day as sensor because of rain didn't have a garage to work in ugg though changed gasket this evening so I hope that will help.
