my daughter just got a 2005 aveo,the oil light is on but oil is at proper level. can the pressure switch be bad and if so where is it located and how difficult is it to replace.

Yeah, its possible the pressure switch is bad. Its located down near the crankshaft pulley on the rear side of the engine.
whats the easiest way to get at it,from top or under.

I can't find the thread that got me here in the first place, but remember seeing your photos. Well here goes...I just picked my car up from the dealer after having brought it to him to have the oil pressure sensor replaced. And of course it still flickers back on! So...did we ever resolve whether or not the factory came out with a new and improved switch. This seems to be recurring with a lot of people.
