My 2007 Chevy Aveo Sedan LS oil dipstick smells like gas. Does anyone know what that means? Bad/Normal?
Thanks,
Keith

Probably yes if your driving pattern includes frequent short trips. On the short trips, the engine isn't able to get fully warmed up, and burn the gas completely (and also condensation). If that's the case, you should consider changing the oil more frequently - maybe 3K, even though the recommendation is quite a bit higher these days even for dino.
I'm assuming your vehicle runs and sounds fine, with no codes. But if that's not true, then maybe you have something else going on.
