      Opinions on my shifter.

Ok so I've been having this problem for some time and figured I should get some opinions on whether I'm nuts or if I should bring the car in. I find my first and second gear change to be 'sticky' at times, especially second. I sometimes have trouble shifting into first, but shifting into second can be brutal. There are also times when second is smooth, but when I really need to hammer the gas to get up to speed with the rest of traffic, the lever will often stick on me and is difficult to engage. In comparison, 3rd and 4th are silky smooth, so it also seems like the linkage is too tight or something. This is my first manual so I'm still versing myself on its function.

Needless to say is this just the way it behaves normally, or should I get it looked at?

Are you engaging the clutch correctly? Don't respond with an automatic yes. Think about it.

You need to double clutch like you should, no granny shifting. And, you need a NOS bottle, a big one, and make that two of them.

I have not done that in months

Hey anything is possible really, I mean it is my first manual so I could be ballsing it up. Next couple times I drive I'll focus on it and see if that is my problem.

      Also no hunter, no...
