Periodic brake light comes on in dash

I have my brake light in the dash come on periodically while driving. I'm assuming it's a brake sensor. Can a member tell me where this is located or is it a different issue ?....Thanks in advance.

The very first thing I'd check is the brake fluid reservoir. If brake fluid is low, the light may come on briefly (particularly when turning corners or on hills).
