Potential gasket leak?

So I noticed what looks like might be a gasket leak on my exhaust manifold shroud. Anyone seen something similar before? I'm wondering if its either the intake or exhaust gasket that would need replaced.

Looks like oil. My money is on the valve cover gasket.

Never done one on the Aveo, but last time I replaced a valve cover gasket it was pretty easy. Most of the work went into removing the stuff over the top of the valve cover in order to remove it.

Yeah that seems about right. I just couldn't remember all the names of different gaskets lol. Thanks I'll look into it.

Valve cover gasket 100%; Ive replaced them on both my Aveos. Its a simple job, but order a few extra valve cover bolts as a few snapped on me

Good to know. Also is it super important to torque the bolts back to spec or just give it a good tighten?
