Question About Torx Fasteners On Aveo5

Sorry if this is a Noob question but here goes. I see the bolts that mount the thermostat on my Wife's 2010 Aveo5 LT are Torx but are they SAE or Metric? I assumed Torx was it's own standard, it wasn't until I looked at getting a female socket set for working on her car that I saw mention of two types. Any help is appreciated.

It’s usually part of the metric system; because they are in 1mm increments.

I guess the two types are security keyed or not. As my college 2010AveoLT has said they are metric. A full set looks like this:

Please do not power off, firmware update pending.....

Thanks, the female sockets are what I need. I'm getting a set through Amazon to do the thermostat this week, need to replace her exhaust pipe section with the flex section in it next. Once the weather warms up, maybe April.
