      Question for P0131 & P0134 Errors

      Hi Guys

I recently got a MIL light on, on my wife's Aveo 1.5LS and I used my scan tool and got a P0131 & P0134 error. I cleared the codes and drove around the block and the MIL light came back on. Scanned and got the same two error codes. I measured voltage on the connector that goes to the ECU and got 0.4V. I measure no resistance on the O2 sensor side. I don't know if I do the measurements correctly. I just measure straight on the two wires. Some websites suggest measure between the sense on the connector and ground on the block. Any advice? I want to replace the O2, but it's bit expensive so I want to be 100% sure it's the O2. Thank you.

      Martin

An inexpensive obdII scanner that reads oxygen sensor voltage will be a good tool to use for this. If you look on the internet for videos that show how to interpret the readings, you will find out if they are good or not.

      Thanks Eg.h2o

I've used the Konnwei 860 scanner and picked up the 131 & 134 codes.

      Well….
use that tool to look at the voltage of the sensors, use the graphing so you can see if they are dead, or just lazy. Use the o2 test to see what parts of the tests they pass. Use YouTube videos so you know what you’re looking at. Inspect the connectors for fitment, check for chaffed wires….the list goes on and on. Maybe you need new sensors, maybe you need to make a repair.
