Rear Driver Side Turn Signal - Sometimes not work

Yesterday my turn signal indicator in the dash started flashing rapidly when in use. I'm not great with cars but the only other time I've experienced something like this with a car was when there was no bulb in at all. But that wasn't the case here. And I looked and of course the rear turn signal isn't working.

Then this morning on my drive to work, it worked fine. But...leaving work today it's not working again and the light in the dash is going rapidly again.

So I don't think it's the bulb but what else should I consider? And how to do I get at whatever it is?

      Thanks

Thank you for your post. Not sure what's going on with your turn signal. Have you had previous issues with it? Maybe you can contact your dealership if the problem persists. Please keep me posted if you have any other concerns or questions. Have a great weekend!
