thats the cap, most cars have a dust seal the goes on "first' to the spindle.. would be pushing into the back of the hub before the hub goes onto the spindle..

No seal. The bearing is sealed.

A taper bearing is NOT sealed. (so I thought until I got into it now again.)

Nope, that is the dust cap. I'm asking if there is a seal that goes on the opposite side of the drum to keep the grease on the bearing from spraying all over inside the drum.
