Red side marker on rear bumper of first gen aveo

Hey guys, just wondering, how do you take out that little red side marker on the rear bumper to replace the bulb on the first gen aveo. Also what bulb type is used in these? Thanks

Just by looking at my car it can either be very difficult or very easy. easy version- you pop/pry it out and after replacement it should snap back in place. scary version- you have to remove or go under the bumper to remove it. makes me cringe just thinking about it. good news is that they only cost like 40 cents, take the old one to an autoparts store so you can find what socket type it is.

double check the service manual, it should just pop out with a flathead.
