Anyone put a remote starter in the 09 Aveo, Wave? i am trying to put one in and having some issues. Never installed one before, looking for some help. i am installing a Prostart CT-3271 with the expresskit PKUAVEO bypass. Anyone install these items?

Whats the problem?
Have you used these items? they are telling me to bypass the clutch switch using a relay and a 180 ohm resister. would this be correct? Do i need to use relays for anything else?
No, I have not used those specific models.
I went direct to the starter wire where it comes out of the fuse box. If you don't want to do that, you'll need a relay and a resister to activate the starter in addition to some way of bypassing the clutch pedal position sensor during remote starting. The 180 ohm resister might work for the clutch, but I'd be careful with the CPP sensor; if the CPP needs to be relearned, you'll be heading to the dealer....after you start the car by bypassing the starter relay.
Even if i did go direct off the start wire at the fuse box, would i still not need to bypass the clutch switch?
No, that would be after the CPP. You will need to either use a relay under the hood or run you 12V+ for the remote start from the battery; there are no wires in the ignition harness that carry enough current for the starter motor.
Our cars don't have a clutch "switch", we have a Clutch Pedal Position sensor, thus the difficulty.
My car does not have the transponder key, so I'm not familiar with that part of it.
So if i run a wire straight from the battery to the remote starter. It will bypass the CPP completely?
I have 2 wires on the R/S for power, one is RED labeled 12v (battery) with a 30amp fuse. The other is RED labeled +12v (battery) with a 30amp fuse.
Which one would i connect the wire coming from the battery too???
Thanks for the help.
Running from the battery to the remote starter really has no effect on the CPP by itself. Running from the battery to the remote starter just gives you the current carrying capacity to wire directly to the starter wire running from the starter relay in the fuse box to the starter motor.
Both the 12V+ fused leads from the remote starter would go to the wire you run from the battery; be sure to put a fuse close to the battery.
I contacted the company that makes it and they are telling me to use a relay. Do you know how to wire a relay?
