Hi all, we've had a pesky P0016 (Crank-Cam Position Correlation Error) code come up since we replaced some components on a 2011 Aveo LT. We've done the following:
- Replaced water pump (vehicle was over heating at the time)
- Replaced timing belt, idle pulley, and tensioner
- Since our timing was off initially, we re-positioned the timing belt and verified that all timing marks were correct (in fact, we've triple checked the timing!)
- Replaced intake and exhaust camshaft position sensors
At this point, we're trying to locate the darned crankshaft position sensor, but am having absolutely no luck. We searched the forums and have found several images showing the sensor position for other years, and we were under the false hope that they might work. It's been a no go.
Does anyone know the location of the sensor? We'd really appreciate your insight. Thanks in advance.
