      Several issues need help with

I have an 09’ Aveo LT. my most recent issue is the alarm going off at random. I am going to be checking the hood switch first since that seems most common and also going to replace key fob battery and reset the computer (disconnect the battery.) I am wondering if this is some sort of electrical problem tho. The doors don’t always automatically lock anymore, the clock usually resets to 1:00 about every 3rd start, and I was told the OBDll port can’t read the vin. I tried changing the TPM sensors at a tire shop but they said they can’t read the vin to program. I use a FIXD obdll reader without issue but it doesn’t show the vin. Any help would be much appreciated. I have been working on this car for a couple of years now so I’ve learned a thing or 2 about it.

Only thing on your list I might be able to help with is your clock resetting.

Those are prone to having cold solder joints, mine had that issue. They are easy to remove and disassemble. It's also relatively easy to reflow the cold solder joints(which will be obvious compared to the joints that are good).

I believe there's information on this forum about it, and I've seen a YouTube video on how it comes apart and what joints to look for. Mines been flawless since.

I appreciate the help. With the issues I was kind of hoping all were related to a harness plug or something. I knew I couldn’t get so lucky.

It never hurts to in inspect your engine compartment grounds, maybe even clean them and reinstall.

not reading the VIN seems to me would indicate an issue with the ecm. Is it possible that someone previously replaced it with a junkyard unit, and didn't reflash the prom...

If the ecu was replaced in the past without being reprogrammed, it won't show the vin. Double check your negative battery cable for corrosion. I had one where the cable looked fine but was corroded under the insulation near the batter connector...cable was rigid, not flexible like it should be. Replaced the cable and not reading ecm issue resolved.
