Timing Belt Replacement!

Hey guys,

I'm at 51k miles, and I'm thinking that I should replace the timing belt on my 2007 Aveo LT. Anyway, I was wondering if you all still recommend changing the water pump, idler pulley, and tensioner pulley as well? If so, what would replacing all of this most likely cost?

How much did the Chevy dealership charge you all for a timing belt replacement?

Old thread, but just had to say Wolfman--I saw an Aveo5 outside of Silver Gulch when vacationing in Fairbanks--maybe it was yours! I saw another one when driving along College just east of University which was the same color as mine. I'd love to live up there and was excited to see two Aveos in February 2012.

When I bought mine the car had 160K miles and the original factory timing belt 🤣🤣🤣I changed it immediately after finding this forum
