81000, damn that thing lasted a while, though most of the time they will run past 100k if you dont beat on your car all the time

I had the same problem, I ordered this tool, i highly recommend it because you are going to struggle without it.

I like that tool, it will sure make the job easier...

But you can do it for free by marking the belt position on the original belt and each sprocket (3)
the transfer the lines over to the new belt.

Its a little backwoods, but its doable and free

Make no mistake, I took the motor mount off, and was using water pump pliers. But after the 17th million time it slipped and I bashed my knuckles frustration took over and I went into "tool using monkey mode"!

That cam toll is about the best thing I have ever seem, I nearly cried when I looked at it as it would have made all the difference. I also like the idea of using your own marks on the belt and the cams.

Again, I wished I found this site BEFORE I did this job...but better now then never!

And there is ZERO doubt that I really pushed my luck with the milage. I was surprised that when I pulled the old belt it looked OK.

It's rare that a belt will fail due to deterioration or manufacture defect. Belts loose teeth because they stretch beyond the tensioner limits, then strip off because they're slack. I'm positive if we all re-tensioned our belts at 50k, they would last at least to 100k. Now, there have been reports of defective pulleys, so beware craptastic Korean quality. If I had a Yaris, I wouldn't worry at all.
