timing belt sliped on crank shaft by three teeth. need help.

just took my car into my parents gerage and removed engine mount and belt pully and timing belt covers. could see belt skipt three teeth on cranck timing belt pully. removed valve cover and could not see damage. perform preasure test on each cylinder and one with valve cover gaskit leak with oil in it went as high as 180 psi. then from drivers side to passenger they read 75psi 90psi 80psi. removed timing belt and could at TDC i turned both cams over one at a time to see if they would stop but they kept rolling like nothing was in the way even tho 1 and 4 were at the top. will i have to remove the head and check valves and cylinders? i thought this was a interfearing engine and maybe thats were my ticking is coming from. and its a 2007 aveo with 110,000km on it and oil changes every 5,000km since i got it at 48,000km and each plug has spark. anyone with any help would be nice right now. doing everything myself.

the same thing happened to me just 3 hours ago .. i was driving at on hwy 7 and for some odd reason i was hearing this clicking noise so i pulled my car to the side and as i breaked , my cheve just lost its juice and died .. tried starting it twice and it just screeched... my mechanic told me it might be the timing belt because of what i heard and that because i have 16 valves i might need the whole front end re done .. basically 2 gs ... and im only at 100207 kms and i go for my oil chges every 4000 kms and maintence at every oil change .. do you think it will be an easy job ?

What you can do is a cylinder leakage test. You'll have to set the belt back to correct and get an air-hose to spark plug like adaptor. Some high end comperssion testers have it in the kit. I made mine, Hollowed out an old spark plug and welded an air fitting to it. The goal is so you can plug your air hose to a cylinder that's on TDC and it should equilize and be pretty much silent. If it's hissin from the Dipstick = Piston Rings, Hissin from the tail pipe = Leaky Exhaust Valve Seat... Hissin from the Throttlebody = leaky Intake Valve Seat or in this particular case with sliped teeth on an interfearance motor may be bent or damaged valves with good seats haha...

see thats the thing.. after i noticed the clicking, when i breaked my car just drained and didnt move.. the screaching was from me trying to start it once ..now shes in the shop waiting to be checked .
