      Troubleshooting Radiator Fan

I was inspecting my Aveo 2005 and I notice that the fan is not starting so I plug it to the battery and it is good. Then I found a cable connector on the driver side near the front bumper that I do not know where it goes.

Does anybody knows where this connector should be plug into?

The radiator fan turns on via the computer. I wonder if that is a fog light connector. So if the two connectors mate (radiator) and that thang, then they must work together. There is not enough detail on the connector to say what it could be. Most connectors in the car are design to only connect to that one thang.

I have not seen the radiator fan ON but it seems that the car is not overheating according to the dashboard gage, it gets to the heat level that shows in this picture, I guess that is an acceptable level.

I found out these cracks in the coolant tank That's why I'm worry about the radiator fan. Tank was replaced.

The radiator fan has its own cable that match the connector, this one I can't find a place to plug it, it had a piece of gray plastic on it, probably from something it was attached to.

I found a picture that should help. I had my car apart. If you look left you can see the connector.

So the wire should be on the passenger side of the car

Thanks for the picture. Mine is missing that fan and I'm guessing is the A/C fan.

The radiator fan is on the inside
