      Unable to add fuel (easily)

In my 2004 Aveo, i an unable to add fuel at a reasonable rate. The pump is continuously clicking off. Based on another post on this forum I replaced the purge value to no benefit. Where to look next?

      Thanks in advance.

sometimes, it helps pulling out the Pump Nozzle an inch to where the angle is lower and its not creating a tight seal and pressurizing the fuel tank.

Thanks for the help, but yes. I have tried in further, out further, upside down, standing on my head and after using several devinities name's in vein. I will try again, but I think I have eliminated this out as a solution.

      Thanks again.

This issue ranges all over the interwebs and seems to affect many brands of cars. Solutions/causes range from spider/wasp webs in the vent line to gas-soaked charcoal canisters. Do a search and you'll see many solutions. Take your pick. If you are handy you can take apart your entire gas filling system and see what you find. One thing I've learned from reading about it is to NEVER top off while filling. When it clicks off, stop.
