Warning lights (check engine seat belt air bag light warnings) shorted out

Hi,

I turn on my 2007 Aveo and the check engine light and seat belt light come on for about 1/2 of a second, then goes away. I know my check engine light and seat belt light should stay on when driving because my oxygen sensor needs to be replaced and my seat belt remains unharnessed. Also, my airbag light should stay on as well because it has an issue.

I checked all fuses and they are good. Is there any way to find out what is causing the short? We know the bulbs work because they come on and off for a moment, so assuming it is a short ?

UPDATE: I replaced the dash component and it fixed the issue, it was not a short, it was a bad dash component.
