Weird Radio Problem

I have a 2009 Aveo and I have this odd problem with the radio. Sometimes when I start my car the display doesn't turn on but all of the buttons work. I have had it in the dealer several times now and they have replaced the radio 3 times now but the problem still occurs. Anyone had this problem?

Check the dimmer? when the headlights are on, during the day, and the dimmer is turned low, you cant see my display either.

Also, if you have a non onstar radio in a car that has onstar, then the wiring in the back "hides" the display..

I've had the dimmer in all positions and I've still had the problem occur and it's the stock onstar radio. It's not something that happens every time I start the car. I've had it happen several times in one day and it's gone months without happening. Very strange problem...
