I am going to do a routine service on my 2010 Aveo5, 1.6L, 5 speed, so I don't have to pay the inflated prices at the dealer.
I'm unsure what needs to be greased. The owners manual simply says "grease chassis". Does this mean that there are zerks that need to be greased? If so where are they?
What else needs to get greased (gear shifter linkage, etc.)?
It would be great if there was a check list for these routine services... Anyone got one?

I was thinking, when you get a major service done, doesn't the dealership list all the stuff they did on the receipt? If so, it would be awesome if someone could post a scanned copy of their service receipt.
i dont beleive there is a whole lot you can grease, what we did to our 05 was put grease point on all the important points, but its not something most people can do.
The only things you grease on the Aveo are the doors and the hood hinges. You could spray the sway bar bushing to stop them from squeaking, but that is a matter of preference.
