It's in the tank and part of the fuel pump and is non-serviceable. Unless you feel like changing the whole fuel pump.
I leased Pontiac Wave from September 2006 to August 2011.
Glass fuel filter? Isn't that like driving around with a Molotov cocktail underneath? Sheesh... you didn't use compression fittings to splice it in, did you?

it is in a procted place and i just used a couple of hose clamps and the glass is just a window so you can see if it needs to be cleaned really is just a feel good about the injectors for me
Where did you purchase the filter?
I have an 06 and that has no external fuel filter just the filter that is on the fuel pump in the tank. This is becoming more common on some newer vehicles now.
I have a 2003 Kalos. The fuel filter is drivers side rear next too wheel sitting next to the cross member. You need to hoist it to remove and install as it has a cover which is difficult to get to on the ground.
chevy aveo 2009 aka pontiac wave 2009 for US/Canada has ONLY strainer, see picture here - http://www.aveoforum.com/forum/f82/o...85/index3.html
