a proper procedure is probably remove both, and fill from the top hole (if it is in fact a filling point, i'm not going to defect from the manuals filling procedure) and fill until it runs fluid out the actual fill hole, in the form of a flush so to speak. once it stops running out, its to the "proper level" but this method should really only be performed with some sort of recovery system.

i thought you have the 18" version of these,, just "yo!" show you., nothing special

i read the other post, nenemasy (that red turbo aveo guy) said he fill it from the top hole, until it tops up.
but the other guy said only top up to the bottom hole,

      i am so confused, ...
what is the purpose of the top hole ?

i think he was saying the same thing i did, you can't fill from the bottom hole without a pump, or some contraption to route the fluid. the top hole would allow you to use a funnel. Then you just fill until the fluid is at the level of the back hole. (open it, wait for it to run out) then it is full.

ok i did it, with a back yard mechanic's assistance,
he filled it up by the CV- shaft, and open the fill hole there was fluid coming out , and then put it back,
      i noticed a major difference,
from 1 gear to 2 gear, i dont have to wait for the rpm to drop quite a bit then engage to 2nd gear,
and putting the shifter to 1 is easier.
now i finally can feel the real power of the car 1 gear and 2 gear full throttle,

but, 2nd to 3rd is still sticky,, , the shifter dont quite want to go to 3 freely, (i guess, by what i experienced, it need the rpm to drop more, then the stick can go to 3 )

also , still difficult to put it in 1 when the car is "coming to a complete stop" like 5 or 10 km/h.

is there little too less 75w90 ? if so, can i just put some in the hole on top of the trans (the hole covered by black cap)
