My husband an I have noticed our CEL going on and off for the past month. Now, he just came home to tell me that our lights don't work, just the brights. We replaced the headlights not even a year ago. What could be wrong? (We are making an appointment with the local 'gear head')
could be the headlight relay, could be the bulbs you chose as some bulbs will burn out really fast with the half lit drls of the aveo..
the cel going on and off sounds most likely a tune up issue, wires/plugs or coil pack, as those are the only ones the light will go back out with..
Exact same problem, first it was one bulb, now both after trying to swap them and then put them back.
Going out to pick up a multimeter to test electrical. Bulbs are only 7 or 8 months old but i've ran them at full brightness DRL.
