      Windshield vibration above 65 mph

Our 2009 Aveo 5 LT has a whine coming from the windshield corner supports when it gets above 65 mph.
Any ideas on how to dampen it? Right now we are using the turn up the radio method.

More info is needed. Is it a wind noise? Is it a plastic piece rattling around? Are you sure it's the windshield and not a vacuum leak or something?

You can feel the pillars vibrating. I was also thinking it could be the hood as it seems a little loose on the right side.

I have the same model and I hear a low wind whistle going about that speed. I was wondering what it was myself.

Mirrors should fold in if it has a gap on the back side, like this http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/...500_SS500_.jpg
Just grab the housing and pull it.

If I were you, I'd get some green masking tape (the tape that doesnt leave residue) and put some where you think the noise is coming from. If it doesn't go away, it's not coming from that spot.

I think you might be hearing road noise being transmitted up though the A pillar or your A pillar is loose. Try popping off the A pillar's plastic molding and see if it goes away. If it does, cram some foam/ dynamat/ dad's old briefs that your mom uses as rags/ whatever in the hollow section of the molding and slap it back on there.
